The sight of your heart beating away,
The tears you brought me on that day,
Dreams of the future, oh so bright,
Dreaming of when I could hold you tight,

Your first kicks to say hello,
Your first hiccups, stretches, 
Running out of room to grow,

First moment I saw you,
First moment I held you,
Kissed your forehead,
You met your Dada,

Whirlwind, the days were long,
Hoping not to do you wrong,
Breastfeeding a mission from the start,
A special time that is dear to my heart,

You grew, cooed, cried, and you laughed,
So many moments, memories that last,
First rolling, scooting, crawling, walking,
Now climbing, running, problem solving,

Many mornings barely slept,
Up all night, your teething, growing,
When you slept peacefully beside me,

All the times I breathed you in,
Feeling the softness of your skin,
Your heartbeat beating close to mine,
Calming us both, a treasure of time,

You may not know what all I do,
Everything my child, it is for you,
The days are long and the years short,

Unconditional, I love you,

Our FOTWA Mothers Day Giveaways will run from April 26th through April 28th, Mothers Day winners will be announced on April 29th. I Remember, And Hope

I remember our years of struggle,
I remember feeling alone,
I remember waking up at midnight, two and three,
I remember looking at my phone,
All those nights of trying,
Tracking every little thing,
Temperature drops and elevation,
Body changes, month dates, reserving hours,
Although we lost many babies,
They are forever in our hearts,
Always near and dear to us,
Never will they part,
And though we got our rainbow,
We hear that aching word,
I N F E R T I L I T Y is real,
One in eight will struggle still,
So here we are longing,
Hopeful for the future, for everyone, for ours,
Happiness is out there,
It is up to us, marching forward,
Keeping the hope and awareness alive.
